Archil Cheishvili grew up in the Republic of Georgia—a country that, at the time, struggled with poverty, corruption, frequent electricity shortages, high crime rates, and underdeveloped education and healthcare systems. From an early age, he wanted to help eradicate poverty and improve people’s access to basic necessities.
To make a real impact, he knew he needed the best education possible. That pursuit took him to Harvard College, where he became the first male undergraduate from Georgia to attend. At Harvard, he immersed himself in economics, philosophy, entrepreneurship, and technology, eventually majoring in Economics and interning at Bridgewater Associates, the world’s largest hedge fund.
While he admired the analytical rigor of investing, he discovered his true passion lay in building technology. After taking a computer science course during his senior year, he became fascinated by artificial intelligence and founded Palatine Analytics— an employee performance analytics platform that went on to win multiple awards.
While building Palatine, he and his team recognized a major gap in the AI ecosystem: AI systems were not connected. They did not learn from or share data with one another. To address that problem, he co-founded GenesisAI—a global AI marketplace that enables AI systems to communicate, exchange data, and trade services.
Nearly ten years later, Archil Cheishvili remains deeply convinced that AI is the most transformative technology humanity has ever created, and he is grateful for the opportunity to work on it.
